Earlier this week, Shopify expanded shoppable Instagram posts to more countries, allowing more merchants to take advantage of this powerful marketing tool.
About 30 percent of Instagram users have purchased a product they first saw on their Instagram feed. The potential for eCommerce sellers to drive more business is tremendous.
There cannot be any doubt that Instagram is becoming one of the most important marketing tools for small businesses eCommerce retailers. This is especially true for fashion, style, and other product categories that rely on images to improve conversion.
In the approximately 30 minute long presentation, Shopify will discuss the following topics:
- What Instagram product tagging is and how it works.
- How to set up the new Shopping on Instagram channel in your Shopify store.
- What post types work best with product tagging.
- Actionable strategies to help you improve your reach and sell more on Instagram.
After the presentation, the company will hold a Q&A session with participants to answer questions about selling on Instagram.
