This year on October 10th the distinguished BRC Annual Industry Dinner which is taking place at London’s world famous Natural History Museum.

The event will be attended by over 500 senior leaders from UK’s biggest retailers, to connect with colleagues, clients, and potential partners as well as customers over a sumptuous dinner.

Is PayPal Planning To Get Into Physical Retail?

As the headline partner of the consortium, PayPal’s efforts to widen its footprint in the physical retail space is very much evident.

Although PayPal remains to be the trusted payment solutions provider of many online businesses, establishing its presence in physical retail is undeniably important to ensure it stays in the lead.

As eBay is moving it’s attention to it’s own integrated payments platform with Adyen which still needs some work after details of the beta were released a few weeks ago, this could have given PayPal all of the motivation they need to start exploring other opportunities, notably in the retail space.

Other sponsors of the event are DP World and Kronos. Click here for ticket inquiries and reservations.
