Etsy makes public experiments of new features or options it is testing on its platform. In most cases only a few buyers or sellers will see these tests.

When a test has concluded, we will update the title of the post as [Closed], meaning the test has ended.
A concluded test does not mean the feature is live or will go live soon. Sometimes Etsy may decide the feature or option it was testing wasn’t generating the results they expected.

What Etsy is Testing: Etsy is testing a new browsing experience in which UK shoppers will see more items from UK shops appearing in their search results.
Goal: To make it easier for shoppers to find local items they’re interested in.
Audience: A percentage of shoppers located in the UK
Start Date: December 2018
Our Take: A little strange to run such a test this far into the holiday season. But if it helps to narrow the focus to show more UK based products to UK shoppers, then it seems like a good idea that can help UK sellers.
