On Monday, Etsy pinned a tweet at the top of their @EtsyHelp customer support Twitter account that suggests the marketplace has stopped monitoring the “Etsy Help” account on Twitter.
However, this morning the account answered a few tweets users posted to the account. This begs the question, has Etsy really stopped using the Twitter account to help buyers and sellers?
Absent an official explanation from Etsy or the company removing the original tweet, buyers, and sellers that need customer support should stay away from Twitter for customer support.
Instead, Etsy users should use one of the other contact channels the company offers to ensure their support questions are seen:
