The company says that all sellers should have access to Etsy Plus by the end of July.

In short, Etsy Plus gives sellers access to advanced features to help you express their unique brand.

They have some similarities to eBay’s store function as Etsy Plus enables sellers to create custom a custom landing page (de facto a shop) that curates all of their listings. It is even possible to assign a domain name to a seller’s Etsy Plus shop.

Etsy says that Etsy Plus will show up in the Shop Manager section where are a new “Your subscription” area under “Settings” will become available when actives on a seller’s account.

Here is a YouTube video the company produced to explain Etsy Plus.

  1. While Etsy’s market share is declining as Amazon Handmade is starting to dominate, I’m still going to sign us up for plus to give Etsy a chance to pull back from its 30% reduction in our sales through their channel while the rest of our business is up over 40%
