Etsy UK announced they have teamed up with five influencers in the UK to specifically promote products from UK sellers in the country.
For UK sellers to take part, sellers simply post an item they feel best solves the challenge offered by the influencer on Instagram and tag @EtsyUK, tag the influencer, and use the #EtsyForMe hashtag.
Etsy suggests to follow all the influencers below and keep your eyes peeled from Sunday June 17th!
Week 1 (From June 17th)
@thegeorgiaedit – Georgia is looking for suggestions for family BBQs, kid’s birthdays and entertaining friends.
Week 2 (From 24th June)
@candicebrathwaite – Tag Candice in your solutions for new mums, including nursery decorations and children’s clothes.
Week 3 (From 1st July)
@sophia_rosemary – Sophia is searching for gorgeous summer style pieces – festival, holiday and party looks to turn heads.
Week 4 (From 8th July)
@mary_maddocks – Show Mary all your artwork and accessories for decorating the spare bedroom – the ultimate bank holiday project come rain or shine!
Week 5 (From 15th July)
@_lisa_dawson – Lisa wants to see all your outdoor/indoor decorating ideas, whether it’s cushions, tablecloths, candles, throws or plant accessories.
Building on Success from Christmas Last Year
Running a similar campaign at Christmas time last year saw many Etsy sellers enjoy the benefits of such a far-reaching cross-promotion.
Taking part in December’s #EtsyForYou, Katy Howieson of What Katy Did Next said:

After Fran and Etsy shared the image of my Pink Flamingo Tassel Earrings on their Instagram accounts I noticed a substantial rise in followers, enquiries for bespoke earrings and a good flow of orders – not just for the featured product but for my other wares too.
It was a lovely boost in the festive period and it was great to help so many amazing customers with their last minute Christmas shopping. I’m now working with followers I gained from this experience with their bridal orders!”
Etsy marketing campaigns are a bit grassroots, not just in-your-face couponing as other marketplaces do.
In Facebook groups, Etsy sellers seems to be pretty upbeat about these promotional opportunities by Etsy probably because they can pick how sellers can take part in the campaign.
