eBay sent a survey to sellers about third-party providers. These are services that help sellers run their businesses on the marketplace such as listing tools, inventory management, order management, shipping and fulfillment services, re-pricing, and more.

The survey is very basic and it is a bit unclear why eBay is asking these questions.

Maybe they are thinking about new features for Seller Hub that are currently being offered by third-party vendors?

If you like to take this survey, here is a link to the eBay survey on SurveyMonkey.

  1. Don’t think we received an invite to fill in that survey?! Interesting why they are asking it. Perhaps they are looking what tools/services sellers are using so they can invest and make their own solutions.

Q: What is the primary reason you use third-party providers on eBay?
A: The third-party provider links to other sales channels and has a better UI, reporting data, managed stock system and automation tools. Overall it saves time and generates more sales.
