Saturday, November 11 is Veterans Day in the United States. A day of reflection to honor the sacrifices of all those who serve and have served to defend America’s freedom.

This year, eBay is suggesting sellers keep military personnel in mind that are serving around the globe by offering shipment to military addresses (APO/FPO).

Many sellers are unsure about what is involved shipping to military APO/FPO addresses. Often they think it requires special permission or extensive documentation.

Or they believe the cost of shipping to a military address is very expense. None of that is true as it only requires using USPS. eBay, PayPal, Stamps.com, and others provide a simple solution for shipping to a military address.

APO/FPO addresses are just like shipping to an address in the United States. The costs are no more than typical domestic USPS shipments.

Seller do have to fill out a customs declaration form, but that only takes a couple minutes. A small time sacrifice to offer shipping to those that are stationed around the globe in defense of the U.S.

While shipments may take longer and for holiday shipments, the holiday day cut-off dates are much earlier, mailing products to APO/FPO is still a great opportunity for sales.
