This incredibly powerful integration gives BigCommerce clients access to market to over 800,000 active Instagram users within the BigCommerce platform.
WHAT MAKES THIS FEATURE UNIQUE?
Instagram posts typically do not allow links in posts. While the social media company has experimented with the feature on a small group of select larg Instagram accounts, BigCommerce is the only eCommerce platform currently offering every U.S. based client this feature.
BigCommerce clients have the choice to send their entire catalog to Instagram or create select posts. All postings are managed within the BigCommerce Channel Manager.
On select postings, up to 5 products can be sent to Instagram to show prices and detailed product views and descriptions. From the product details view, Instagram users can tap on “Shop Now” link that will take them directly to the BigCommerce shop owner’s site to purchase the product.
